1928 vintage door w mirror
roughcasting elements, Texas grapevine, acrylic paint, acrylic ink
A mirror is a funny thing. Innocently reflecting the reality it grasps, it also offers a story of the imagination —either glowing with possibility or laden with deception. Like a wild flower, I pictured this piece an organic offshoot in a marshy wood. Corroded by the judging elements and unpredictable water, but determined to sing for beauty.
